I did the copyright which is the register of characters
in Sao Paulo. I am from Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul. I went to Sao Paulo to
able to register my character’s name and Enterprise. Amy Margarida, she is
inspired by Amy Winehouse in music, physical appearance and love to her work
and for everything that she represents and this came from me from my passion
from the artist. For this reason other people said that I looked alike I did
rehearse on her work and due to me being an actress. Also I like to write
stories which led me to write the story about Amy Margarida which is based upon
a Brazilian girl who wants to be a singer and to reach a great success in her
career but unfortunately she didn’t have music lesson to train her voice, she
never studied music and she only wanted to go on stage and sing. Until one day
after many attempts of performing live without success they said to her you
have got talent, go to a vocalist and start listening to Amy Winehouse see how
her voice is, the tone of her voice and discover your tone and she saved her
money and starter learning how to sing. She gathered the money and moved to
London which her dream was to meet Amy Winehouse. Amy Margarida spent a lot of
time in Camden. She lived in various places because didn’t have enough money to
live alone, she lived with many people. One of her visits to Camden she truly
met Amy Winehouse. However there wasn’t enough time to build a friendship, she
has that moment in her mind forever. This inspired her to continue her work
which led to her studying music to do the show in tribute to Amy Winehouse.
In this moment of time she was invited to take part in another test and
on this test she passed and she recorded a track Amy Margarida in tribute of
Amy Winehouse. I am in gratitude to Amy
Winehouse and for everything that she represents and for music that doesn’t
exist elsewhere because Amy Winehouse is unique and people that connect to her
can feel a spiritual bond and an energy which inspires you to do more. I
believe in my dream how she believed in hers and she dedicates this all her
life. It is never late to start this fan which Amy Margarida in her stories
this can be any one of us. A girl who has been in many relationships which didn’t
work out because she got involved, she became obsessed and she saw herself like
Amy Winehouse because she was so much in love
that she could not be happy. Amy Winehouse went to places and use
different clothes because she liked to be different. She liked to use clothes
which made her look like a doll because she was a person that had a strong
artist imagination.
Enjoy having friendships, meet new people and go to new places. Amy
Margarida is a dreamer, smiles a lot, likes music, likes jazz, likes to
socialize and drink every so often. However, she is a person that didn’t have
the opportunity, Amy Winehouse gave her the opportunity for her to have a
chance from her life skills and she saw that everything that Amy Winehouse
built it wasn’t easy; she wasn’t from a wealth background. Amy Margarida had
all the opportunities however she did not have music lesson that she needed. Studying
music was the difference. My project is based in motivating people to study
music and believing in themselves, dream about it, even without money. Ask for
help to do anything to follow their dream e.g. travel abroad, affordable
accommodation and jobs. Amy Margarida succeeds, she believed in her dreams, she
is a winner. This is very important.
